Wood Species
The main wood species I use are Basswood and Pine. Basswood is very neutral and consistent with minimal grain pattern (left). Pine has more variation and grain pattern (right).
Process
Each piece of wood is cut and trimmed by hand in order to fit together in a pattern within the larger grid.
